The Lucas Group of Companies is an award winning real estate firm specializing in the development, construction, and ongoing management of residential, multifamily and commercial properties. Development of residential homes for sale, multifamily and commercial properties for investment have historically been areas of emphasis for Lucas.

During the period from 1968 to 1979, development activities were largely devoted to the development of single family homes for sale. During this period the company completed in excess of 3,500 homes. In the mid 1970's, Lucas expanded operations to include developing multifamily units for investment and by the late 70's included office, industrial and retail properties as well.

In the early 1980's, Lucas ventured into general contracting for third party owners. Lucas has succeeded by using the same development philosophy on contract projects as it has for its own development. The added insight gained from in-house development, construction and management provided a valued asset that Lucas could offer its clients.

To date, Lucas has collectively built over 5,400 multi-family apartment homes and over 1.5 million square feet of commercial, industrial, retail and office projects. In addition, Lucas owns and manages approximately 2,500 apartment homes and currently maintains offices in Nevada, Northern and Southern California. Lucas' portfolio of investments includes properties in these areas as well as New York and these investment properties are managed in-house on an ongoing basis. Currently Lucas is continuing its development as well as expanding the general contracting role. Referral continues to be the strongest supporting element for outside contracting.
